Consider all the benefits of utilizing Pawsitive Purfection Pet Sitting & Services, LLC. - extensive work hours, illness, night-on-the-town . . . I can be of service.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All pets need to be current on their vaccinations except under medically necessary exceptions (like undergoing chemotherapy) in order for me to pet sit. Well socialized pets only.
Q. How do I meet my pet sitter?
A complimentary Meet & Greet session will be scheduled at your residence to give me the opportunity to meet you and your pets and complete all necessary paperwork BEFORE pet sitting service can begin. Click to download the necessary forms: New Client and Visitors. I will explain the services in detail, answer any questions and confirm pet care dates and times. I want you to feel comfortable with the process and professional service.
Q. How will the pet sitter gain access to my home?
Please have two (2) keys available when I arrive for our Meet and Greet and please test them to make sure they work.
It is my policy to keep your keys on file in a secure location for future visits. If you prefer to have your key returned, understand a $10.00 pick-up fee for future services will be incurred. I will not leave keys in a hiding spot or in your house on my last visit in case you are delayed and a last minute visit is necessary. If I am not issued a key, I can't care for your pets.
Q. Do I have to sign a contract?
Yes, I need a signed statement that you agree to let me into your home to care for your animals and that you agree to the policies/procedures.
Q. When I am out of town, how many times a day should a pet sitter visit my pets?
For dogs, three visits a day is recommended. For healthy cats, one visit per day is usually sufficient.
Q. Will the pet sitter leave my pet unattended outdoors?
No. I will NEVER under any circumstances leave a pet in their yard when I am not going to be there. Please don't ask me to do this. I want your pets indoors while unsupervised for their protection. All dogs and outside cats must have identification tags on their collars. Safety for your pets is my top priority!
Q. What about insurance and bonding?
Pawsitive Purfection Pet Sitting & Services, LLC is insured through (PSA) Pet Sitter Associates, LLC and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
Q. How will I be charged for services?
Payment for services is due at the time of consultation for new clients. Existing clients are expected to leave full payment on first day of scheduled visits. Daily clients are billed weekly and payment is expected by the next day of service. Cash or check only.
Q. What if I need to cancel service?
If you need to cancel scheduled visits, I require 24 hours notice to avoid being charged a fee equal to 50% of the normal Pet Sitting visit charge. I greatly appreciate advance notice of a cancellation so I can make the time to provide superior service to other clients in the area.
Q. What can I expect when I return home?
A happy, content pet waiting to greet you and a "progress report" detailing my visits.
Q. How will my pet sitter know I have returned home?
